News: Prologue Relettered with New Font, New News

June 05, 2016

The relettering of the Prologue with my new handwriting font is live! I made a font from my handwriting so the intro to the comic is more easily readable. The Keybound archive is now live! It is a visual archive and separated by storyline, so if you remember what the page looks like or what section of the story it is from, you can find it. There is also a new page dedicated to the news archive: each comic page will have the most recent news item (so new readers working through the archive won't miss out on appearances!), but if you missed old news you can still read about it. The news archive can be found here.

Keybound comic page 22. The Keyper explains that she separated Eledrine and the Key. Confronted with knowing the Key is hers, Eledrine objects angrily.

Eledrine's Key is on a chair. Her wooden sword is also leaned up against the chair.

KEYPER: I thought it best to separate the two of you.

KEYPER: You're unusually young for the bonding, and I didn't want her to hurt you. It seems my concern was premature, as her name came to you readily.

Eledrine considers for a moment.

ELEDRINE: Her? The Key? A name?

Surrounded by Key magic, the Keyper responds.

KEYPER: None but the Keyper and the Keybound know a Key's name.

Eledrine recoils as the Keyper holds out her Key to her.

ELEDRINE: I AM NOT KEYBOUND. My brother is. I must carry on the family trade.
